Framework Layer 1 — Foundation: Infrastructure Setup

The foundation layer ensures every email you send has the maximum probability of reaching the inbox.

Domain strategy

Purchase 3 to 5 domains per active campaign team member. Use variations of your brand (getbrand.com, trybrand.io, brand-team.com). Never use your primary business domain for cold email. Age new domains for 2 to 4 weeks before sending.

Account strategy

Create 2 to 3 email accounts per domain. Each account represents a unique sender persona. Configure professional display names and signatures. Alternatively, use pre-configured accounts from Warm Inboxes.

Authentication

SPF: Authorize your sending sources. Verify with the SPF Checker. DKIM: Enable message-level authentication. Verify with the DKIM Checker. DMARC: Set up monitoring and progress to enforcement. Verify with the DMARC Checker.

Warmup

Every account must be warmed for 14 to 21 days before campaign sends begin. Warmup continues indefinitely alongside campaigns. Monitor warmup health weekly.

Deliverability baseline

Before launching campaigns, run inbox placement tests using the deliverability checker. Establish baseline scores. Do not launch until inbox placement exceeds 85%.
