Benchmarks provide context for your metrics. Here are the benchmarks for 2026 based on industry-wide data.

Overall benchmarks (all industries, all personas)

Reply rate: 3 to 8% (includes all replies). Positive reply rate: 1.5 to 4% (interested replies only). Bounce rate: Below 2% (target below 1%). Meeting booking rate: 1 to 3% of total sends. Cost per meeting: $50 to $300. Cost per qualified lead: $100 to $500.

Benchmarks by persona

C-suite: Lower reply rate (2 to 5%) but higher meeting value. VP-level: Moderate reply rate (3 to 7%). Director/Manager: Higher reply rate (5 to 10%) but may need upward referral.

Benchmarks by industry

Technology/SaaS: 3 to 6% reply rate (high competition). Healthcare: 2 to 5% reply rate (regulatory caution). Financial services: 2 to 4% reply rate (conservative culture). Professional services: 4 to 8% reply rate (open to partnerships). E-commerce/DTC: 3 to 7% reply rate (varies widely by sub-vertical).

Using benchmarks

Compare your metrics against these benchmarks to identify underperformance. If your reply rate is below the benchmark range, investigate targeting, content, or deliverability. If above, look for opportunities to scale while maintaining quality.
