Exaggeration and promises

Amazing, incredible, revolutionary, game-changing, breakthrough, unbelievable, best ever, 100% satisfaction, no risk. Superlatives and extreme claims raise spam filters.

Sales and promotion

Buy now, order now, special offer, exclusive deal, discount, save, bonus, prize, winner, congratulations. These are marketing terms that do not belong in a one-to-one business email.

What to use instead

Write like a real person having a real conversation. Instead of "This is a limited time offer," say "I thought this might be relevant to what you're working on." The nuance

A single spam trigger word will not send your email to spam.
